Fireside Denture Clinic is a trusted denture care provider based in Yellowknife, offering personalized services that support comfort, confidence, and overall oral health. The Approach

As the clinic evolved, there was an opportunity to better align the brand with the level of care and professionalism delivered in practice. I led a full rebrand, developing a visual identity that reflects both the clinical expertise and the warm, client-centered experience Fireside is known for.

Alongside the identity, I designed and developed a custom website to establish a strong and accessible online presence. The result is a cohesive brand and digital experience that feels modern, approachable, and supportive from first interaction through to ongoing care.

The development of the Fireside Denture Clinic brand was grounded in creating a visual identity that feels both calming and deeply connected to Northern values. Inspired by the meaning behind “Fireside,” the brand balances warmth, trust, and healing with a modern clinical presence. The colour palette was carefully selected to reflect this duality, combining deep, grounded tones with natural greens to evoke comfort, renewal, and connection to the land. Typography plays a key role in reinforcing this balance, using clean, modern letterforms for clarity and professionalism, softened with subtle curves and generous spacing to maintain an approachable, human feel. Fire elements were intentionally woven throughout the brand to symbolize warmth, transformation, and care, creating a visual language that feels welcoming, restorative, and connected to story.

The logo brings together multiple symbolic elements into a cohesive and meaningful mark. The tooth-shaped silhouette immediately anchors the brand within dental care, while its soft, rounded form creates an approachable and reassuring tone. Within the icon, the fire and logs represent warmth, safety, and transformation, reflecting the clinic’s role in restoring confidence and comfort. Flowing elements inspired by the northern lights introduce a sense of calm and connection to place, while grounding features like the horizon, water, and stones represent stability, healing, and renewal. Paired with clean, modern typography, the logo achieves a balance between professionalism and warmth, capturing both the clinical expertise and the deeply human experience at the heart of the clinic.

Following the development of the visual identity, the brand was expanded across a range of physical touchpoints, including window frosting, interior and exterior signage, and branded client items such as mugs. Each element was thoughtfully designed to maintain consistency while enhancing visibility and the in-clinic experience. This cohesive application ensures the brand feels integrated, professional, and aligned at every point of interaction.
